I couldn't decide which one I liked best, both are from the previous weekend spent at our friends cottage.

1..... A center shot for a change.... (looks better bigger,in my opinion!!)

2..... back to the right again......

One for Friday

A photo from last weekend.

In the front of our friends cottage is this beautiful apple tree and it was full of blossom.

I took a lot of blossom photo's with all 3 of my lens but it was so windy I deleted most of them when I got home due to blur. ...this was one of my favourites though, love the blossom and the unopened buds and the moss on the branch. When it's clicked bigger you can just see a spiders web from the buds to blossom.

One for Friday

Another April leftover.
I took this at the very beginning of the month,it's the dead head of my hydrangea plant that I'd not removed in the fall.
It's slightly over exposed, the first shot I took before adjusting but for some reason I liked this one better than the correct exposure ones......

Looks better bigger :)

Looking down !

More leftover shots from April.

I did quite a few of these looking down photo's like the Hostas in the post below such as my lily, which is now being eaten by those evil red lily bugs as soon as I remove them they are back.......

the leaf buds blooming.....

and my favourite the ferns.....

Which are now 2 feet tall and going crazy.

One for Friday.

I took a few photo's of my hosta plants as they were beginning to grow during April but this was my favourite.
I can't remember without checking what I picked over it for that particular day because this was definitely a favourite from the month.

I hadn't realised I had even captured the bug until I downloaded it............I feel I'm repeating myself here but,it clicks bigger !!

May

May has got to be another of my favourite months.........not to hot and my garden begins to really bloom.
After all the photo taking in April I hadn't really taken anything until this morning when I looked out my kitchen window and felt compelled to try and capture the new leaves on the tree.

I switched back to my 50 m lens which I think I only used twice last month in my effort to use my other lens too.

I've found with this lens my favourite setting is f 2.5 but today I set it back to f1.8........

This has come out really small but it will click bigger !

I don't think there's quite enough of the main subject in focus but I had already downloaded them before I could tell and I couldn't be bothered to go back and try again, maybe tomorrow........but even so there's something about these I love.
